``My husband and I have ate at many sushi bars across the country, and this was by far the best sushi/sashimi served to us. You wouldn't think that you could find exceptional sushi/sashimi in East Texas, but trust me on this one. Their portions are also somewhat larger than most other places who only serve six-piece rolls, whereas they serve eight-piece rolls for the same price, if not cheaper on some.
``If we ever moved away, I told him I'd have to fly back once a month, at least, just to get my Matsu fix! And to visit the Han's. They are truly wonderful people.
``The only thing I would improve would be the size of the place to ensure more seating availability. ''

``In east Texas you have two options - Matsu in Longview, and Shogun in Tyler. Matsu is about a notch better than Shogun. The portions are a bit skimpy, but they're fresh, and the staff is reasonably friendly. The sushi bar is crammed into a tiny, claustrophobic room, and the layout of the restaurant is confusing to the point of being discomforting. The restaurant is way out from the city, but easy to reach from I-20: exit on 31, go just about a block or two north, and keep your eyes peeled for it on the left.''
