``This is the best DC-metro area (MD, WDC and Northern Virginia) sushi restaurant including other top-rated places in arlington, Maryland, Mclean, etc. - and IMNSHO, also San Diego and NY City. I'm the kind of person who will travel across town for a good restaurant or signature dish, and go out of my way to find good food when away on business. The sushi here is always pristine and fresh, just great. The Akasaka's other food is also excellent. Everything has very consistent quality overall. The chef/boss always takes pains to have the freshest best quality sushi around.''
