``In a span of more than twenty years, I have eaten at countless sushi restaurants and bars around the world. For the past fifteen years my favorite has been Taiko in Irvine, California. It is outstanding and I have recommended it to many friends without reservation. All of them share my opinion of this restaurant, some driving fifty plus miles to enjoy Taiko sushi on a regular basis. Everyone, from the owners to the busmen are welcoming, courteous, and very efficient. Suzuki, Akio, and Ono are the best Sushi chefs anywhere! ''
