``This is a buffet all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant. I brought my family in (9 people). We are not heavy eaters. Now the waitress was OK in the beginning and the food was slow in coming. The restaurant was not busy probably four tables with parties of 3-4. After an hour and still waiting for our first order. We thought maybe they have forgotten so we made another. Waited for another hour and the waitress was already agitated that we have been there over an hour so when I asked her where was our chicken karage an beef terryake. The waitress response was this is your last order. We were shocked the order is still from our first order. Furthermore she treated the table in front of us [...] with so much respect and their food came promptly even though these four men came later than we did. My dad was very upset at the sight. I along with my whole family will never visit this restaurant again and will pass on the information to all our friends and family. I will further pass this letter to the Better Business Bureau and the Restaurant of BC magazine. I am so dissappointed at the service of this restaurant''

``All you can eat menu for both lunch and dinner (includes limited sashimi!).
``I have eaten regularly at Ebisuya and the owner's previous restaurant (Kato) since about 1991. The food has always been fresh and well prepared. Never have I had need to return anything to the kitchen!
``The restaurant is family owned and they are most friendly and service oriented. Reservations are a good idea for weekend dinners as the place is usually full and you could wait for up to an hour for a table or even a single seat at the sushi bar.
``I like this place and I try to eat there any time I am in that area (which is across town from home).
``Be sure to try the House Special Maki Roll.''
