About Mikado (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)
Last visited March 2001.
|
Variety of sushi: Broad range of uncommon items.

``The variety isn't as broad as establishments with access to the ocean, but is very good for land-locked Alberta. They frequently bring in items not found in other sushi bars in this city. They have a weekly feature fish wich is a nice treat and fresh.''
About Osaka (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)
Last visited March 2001.
|
Variety of sushi: Usual selection.
|
Promptness of service: Notably attentive.

``This is a solid sushi restaurant which does a good job of providing the standard fare of Japanese food. The variety is somewhat limited due to the lack of ocean access in Alberta. The itamae is pleasant and efficient. The food is good.
``The atmosphere is slightly different from the usual. It has a charming "Japanese kitsch" feel to it which is fun.''
