``Wonderful small storefront restaurant. The portions are very generous: I ordered what at most places would be a large meal (but not huge by any means) and could barely finish.
``There is often a waiting list for a table, and I do not believe that they take reservations. Be prepared to wait out front for a while.''

``Good food, nice place.
``Service was a little bit sloppy - one person's roll was on someone else's plate; another roll came quite a bit later; the combo plate I got was described in the menu as including uni but there wasn't any on the plate that came out.
``But I'd give them another try.''

``Partly - but only partly - my love for this restaurant comes from having first tried, then grown to love, sushi here. The last year I was a student here, several of us from the lab made a weekly ritual of a sushi lunch, almost always to Hana.
``But I still come here because having been to dozens of different sushi restaurants, Hana ranks very well. It's a casual, comfortable place with great food.''

``Large portions of decent (but not great) sushi. Unadventurous omakase selection. Strikingly sloppy service: slow to take and fill orders, dishes from same course brought out at different times, seemed like the slowest bar in the city. Very hip decor, but not in a comfortable or friendly way.
``All in all, an average experience at above-average prices.''
