``Above and beyond the very finest sushi restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. If you live in Columbus and love sushi, you know of Restaurant Japan and Sapporo Wind. Kooma has them beat. The freshness and quality is unparalleled in Columbus and is also very consistent. The non-sushi items are incredible. The chef's special sauces are to die for. The `bibimbap' sauce is truly incredible...spicy, but a real delight. A great seaweed salad. Their teriyaki dishes are out of this world. I highly suggest the `Kooma Roll' (specialty roll). One of the sushi chefs, Jon, is part owner with a gentleman by the name of Scott. Jon created the menu for Haiku, a popular sushi spot in the Short North area down the street, where he worked prior to Kooma. Haiku was one of the first well known sushi spots in Columbus and downtown which led to sushi's current popularity in Columbus.''
